Need an answer, QUICK!!

Okay guys, here's the situation. I went to NY for Christmas. Left the SVX in the parking lot in California, took keys with me. Due to a slight blunder, the keys are still in NY but I'm in the airport in PA already on the way back to CA.

Now, I locked and alarmed the car using my remote (the SVX has a stock security system, OEM). I do have another key to the car at home, but not another remote. Also, the only door which can be unlocked by the key is the passenger's door (the driver's door and trunk locks are seized).

If I unlock the passenger's door with the key and attempt to start the car, will it work? Or am I totally hosed until I get my set of keys back?

Thanks in advance!!!

If it is a stock alarm you will be able to start the car and disable the alarm with the key in the ignition.

Be prepared though, it will go off. My understanding of the stock alarm is, however you lock the car, key button, remote, ETC, if you unlock it a different way, the alarm will go off.

Starting the car with the key will silence it though.

Well I figured it'd be obvious that it would go off.

It wasn't to me, when I locked my car with the console switch, then unlocked it with the key, I was like WTF!

Imagine my surprise when I was under the hood of the Laguna with my head over the horns...
