She should be on soon. She got so excited seeing it that she didn't realize mine was a 5 speed. There's a bunch of well cared for svx's on the network that she should be able to get her hands on.

BITD I went with a girl from New Brunswick , NJ. Would that be a hoot if it was her.... Yea I get that reaction when they see the shifter. Had one guy say "nice job looks just a 5 speed shifter" " how do u know what gear your in ? Oh I see it up on the dash. And I said yea and I even add a fake clutch pedal...

So, Decided to road trip this past weekend & head to the beach (Ocean City, MD) for a day trip. As luck would have it, it just so happened to be a car show (H20 Meet) weekend. That said, I wasn't sure how the SVX would fair with the type of crowd that was there. I can say, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of recognition. From one guy shouting "SVX!" as I went by, to another guy telling his crew, "that's an SVX, that's a rare care, a really rare car!!" Definitely a wild crowd though. Signs for "Boobies for Burnouts!!" to tying up the bus lane selling stuff. A fun day, tho def not my type of crowd!

Clerk 1: "Wow that's a Subaru SVX!"

Clerk 2: "Oh I thought it was a Dodge Stratus."

Clerk 1: "What?!?"

Me: "It's mine, your right it is a SVX."

Clerk 1: "Cool, they were awesome cars, is yours the twin turbo model? I had a friend who had one with the manual transmission and the twin turbo."
