Howdy all. I'm Nevin. I own an ebony '95 LSi AWD with tan interior. 109k on the clock and I just took it on a 2500 mile round trip this weekend, and averaged about 27.5 mpg. One tank I even got 30. Yay for me.

It's my first Subaru, and I really love the dickens out of the thing. Bought it just a month ago today actually, and have been pampering it ever since. Ran a carfax on it, and found it to be in EXCELLENT shape. In such good shape *knock on wood* that the tranny has actually been serviced twice already by a dealer at regular intervals.

I'm Andrew, I hail from Corvallis, Oregon (GO BEAVERS!) and I'm a lube tech at John and Phil's Toyota/Subaru/Scion, and I'll more than likely be getting my first SVX in October :-)

Yeah,
I hate that you couldn't make it to the meet....but hate that the SVX's are outnumbering the XTs present at the meet now.....XT's are getting fewer and fewer on the road.....

I know you guys like your XTs, so I'm taking it as granted they are probably good to own and nice to drive. They're Subies.

However, not wishing to ruffle feathers or upset anybody, I won't cry for them as I've always thought they represent the nadir of bodywork design from the eighties; how NOT to design a car, they are plug ugly.

They look like something designed by someone whose principal artistic strength is origami.

Now Dayle's two Mitsubishis are the opposite side of that particular design streak: short, butch, purposeful and balanced in proportion.

Subaru used an XT6 mule to road test the SVX suspension and chassis. For me, the SVX is the shape of car that the XT should have been.

I mean no offense guys, for me the XT is a shape that is really difficult to like.

Joe
