Part number 9.5121. I paid $13.99 + shipping for them.
So far they are working well. But it's not hard to beat a 20 year old rubber bushing with an elongated hole so the sway bar rattles around...

When i put nevins bar on, the state my stock one was sooo bad.

This is what mine looked like:
These were soft like marshmallows. You could just rip them apart like a marshmallow...

I think my bar was in worse shape...

Yummy!

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I couldn't go to Reading, taking care of my elderly parents, but I had a SVX weekend with our 92 Ebony anyway...
Sanded, painted (Duplicolor) and cleared wheels, put on summer tires, installed OT's 15 minute $15 mod, changed #1 fuel injector (the right one this time) to clear code 14, changed the A/C trinery switch, new receiver drier, evacuated, recharged with Harbor freight gauge set. Washed and dried!

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Thought about it a lot today.... the SVX that is. I've been lying dormant lately with all the issues I've had pile up on me recently but slowly getting back into the groove again. Needed a break anyhow. Anyways, I realized how very close I am to getting the project svx done and pulling the trigger on some last few bits I need to complete the overhaul, bringing it completely up to speed in the sense that it will be crescent fresh by summers end. (minus suspension but hopefully it's just something stupid in the rear end that can be bolted down / tightened properly but... maybe not)

Nate was kind enough to sell me some heated mirrors and a nice motorized driver seat before the interior is to be reupholstered. Stopped by several shops locally and they all acted completely dumbfounded with the idea of doing the seats and say there are no patterns available? Looks like I'll have but no choice but to go with PlanetSVX, not that it's necessarily a bad thing just that I heard their leather seems kind of thinnish. Also, I'm guessing that there is absolutely no new carpet to be made for these vehicles either as well. Same shops said they could lay carpet over the carpet or basically glue the new onto the old which sounds super tacky as hell. Suppose the carpet would be fine with a professional cleaning... however, really would like to do it new since everything else is going to be basically new. Any ideas?

Still quite torn/bent on the edge with the paint on which way I should go and all the bs that will be involved but despite what people will say or think.... I feel like I'm going to go with the color I got test painted on the spoiler not so long ago that I made a video of and have fallen in love with. I have a slight desire to round it all off and do a 4-5lbs turbo under there to make it a little extra special and give it just a little bit more kick without modding the hell out of anything else. Who knows if that'll ever happen though. If all goes as planned, it'll no longer be called the Laguna... but instead Polaris SVX... which will match it's newer color more accordingly. Polaris - is the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor. It is very close to the north celestial pole, making it the current northern pole star. It really does need a paint job and I may as well do it over with something I'd really like... even though the Laguna color is top shelf in itself. I'm sure I'll get **** for it.

Good to see you back.
I saw your video of the test color. I think it looks awesome! And I love the name, Polaris.
Best of luck! Looking forward to seeing what you do!

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I took it to the car doctor.

The calipers were fine but got some TLC as the brakes feel better (but still much less sharper than any other car).

The handbrake now works.

Got a new appointment for 23rd/24th which will see:

* New rear hubs and bearings
* New pads and rotors (all vented) on all four wheels
* Installation of the StrongFlex bushings (full set)
* First mounting of my fully refurbished wheels with totally new C1S.
* Perhaps a fix for the exhaust leak

God knows what will be discovered when this happens.

Well.........Drove it to see the Avengers....Then my friend yelled at some idiot on the highway about paying attention..he followed us, I tried to dip out and hide. Got cornered in a field, he pulled a gun on us. Then he ran away!

I now know the limits to the SVX's heavy-brake cornering, and how well it does in the grass.

In other news, the Avengers was good!

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Wrapping up the install of my 11.4:1 compression eg33 with ported heads and intake. Swapping over components from the stock engine to this one. All was going well until we pulled the stock engine... and left the motor mounts behind. Seems they were a little rotted out. Once the engine was out, I looked down and was rather surprised to see that the bottom of the mounts were still in the engine bay. They tore off of the top mounts. *grumble grumble* On the plus side, I learned something. I had no idea that we had oil filled motor mounts! So, I ordered a set of urethane STI mounts and will modify them to fit.

For some reason, I just cant leave stuff stock
