Just got a '92, 74,500 mi, new tranny, brakes. Full leather + spoiler, nothing wrong that we've found yet. $2,500.00 Seemed like a good deal.

Hello ALL

um im not sure how to do this, i never been much of a bloger or poster? or thread replying, but im in love.

I LOVE my Svx (Whenever there is a new guard at the gate they ask me what kinda car it is- i grin ear to ear), i saw the SVX up here in alaska, on the "base lemon lot" as we affectionatly call it. I wanted it and new i was going to have it, even when i didnt have any money to my name, and was fixing my prior military Credit problems (laid off twice in florida). I found out this car came from miami, lol it was exotic subaru(always wanted one) and it just was plane sexy, grant it was burried int alot of snow, the guy came to the car wiped the snow off the door, and it started up, it was love at first site, (she purrred at me ) I did everything i could to work out a deal with the guy, i paid 4 grand for it. Paid him monthly 500 dollars. Shes all mine now (this was last year) .

I want to bring her to show room quality with upgrades.

I am and avid tech geek, Aerospace ground Equipment mechanic for the airforce, self proclaimed inventor, Star trek and stargate fan.
I been tossing around an idea of build and electric booster for the car. Somthing that is similar to what we use on the equipment to run the F-15Es engines up for testing.

Hi, I'm Nick, official SVX ambassador for Alaska.

I live in Anchorage and travel out to Elmendorf once a week in either my Caravan or Workhorse. I have probably seen your car, though Clarets are rare around here. My SVX count is somewhere around 27.

We would like to hear what ideas you have for boosting this car. Electric boosters have been discussed and we determine they use too much power for very little if any gains. Your F-15 technology might be a little more efficient.
We can hope at least.

Hi I'm Nick and I got a 92 SVX LS-L Dark Teal almost 96,000 mi. I love it, and don't beat on it. The first time I laid eyes on an SVX, I wanted it. I remember at the Vets Office, it was a Brilliant Red LSI. I'll NEVER forget it. If it wasn't for my cat Limpy, I don't know if I would be typing here right now. I'd take an SVX over most cars. I've had it around 3 years. I got when I was 15 yrs old. It needs a transmission, yea I know join the club. I'm thinking of dropping an 6 speed STi in it. We'll see.

I am fairly new to the SVX...i have a 1992 green. i love this car, unfortunatly it needs some maintnance done and thats why im here with you all. So i can learn more about this car inside and out. Im not much of a poster but if i have anyting to say or help anyone in any way i will do so. This looks like the right place.
