The new trailer to the game I'm working on was recently released. The song used in the video, 'White Rabbit,' fits nicely.

http://www.redfaction2.com/downloads.cfm

I will warn you that, while the music kicks, the visuals contain action-movie-level violence. So, if you have a problem with that, go buy the album from Jefferson Airplane to hear the tune instead of downloading the trailer.

See, this was a thread about music...and the music in the trailer is cool...so it's not really off-topic.
Nice way to weave that in, Nick.

Thanks to Zeppelin (Mark Howard), I have a copy of the album "The Worst of Jefferson Airplane" on CD, in my car. Great driving tunes! Saved me from having to transfer it from vinyl. Thank goodness for the younger folks who are into the music of my era.

I've got a better way:

My SVX is red. Buy Red Faction 2!

Sorry - this is just my first published game and I'm terribly anxious for people to play it.

And, lest anybody think I made it all by my lonesome, or that I'm claiming to have, I didn't. I made multiplayer levels. 6 of them are mine. So, I played a small role, but it's my first so :P !

svx driving tunes

Rippingtons "Curves Ahead"
Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms"
BNL "Stunt"

and on the Northwest Region summer tour through the Cascade Mountians, I took a Mozart opera, "Magic Flute": very apropos to the forestland and high peaks, I thought.

Thumbs up Jefferson Airplane!

I also like them.

I prefer the song from the movie "Platoon", it's called "White Rabbit"!

Does the Album "Worst of Jefferson Airplane" include that song?

I recently installed a small Webcor 45 changer/turntable that rolls out of the glovebox. Does anyone have any old DOO Wop 45's.

My next project is to remove the CD player and install an 8-track in its place. Thank you Madman Muntz.

Sure does. Has all the Airplane Classics. "Revolution," "Somebody to Love" etc. Great Stuff!

After I've listened to that one for a while, I pop it out and put in Steppenwolf's Greatest Hits! BORN TO BE WI-I-I-I-ILD. . .!

Driving Tunes

I may be new here...but I'm not new to "driving tunes" and I always rely on guitar instrumentals...in particular Vinnie Moore, Greg Howe, Tony Macalpine or similar artists. Sometimes words distract you from a good drive.

- Melissa Etheridge
- Madonna
- Alecia Keys
- Elton John
- Moby
- Brittany Spears
- Celine Dion
- Ricky Martin "She bangs, she moves!"
- NOW! 7,8,9,10

Now, those are only my embarrassing ones...I like other stuff too...can you believe the first one? Found an old CD of my moms, and loved it...i'm so ashamed!

Moby's not too bad, I would suggest hiding in a hole for a while with some of the others though. Ricky Martin? Good thing your location is "somewhere" and not anywhere near me, those tunes should be illegal in an SVX.

P.S. Just messin with you, whatever you like is your own opinion.

I just got my turntables hooked up to my computer and threw a couple of short mixes together. They're about 30 minutes and 30 megabytes each.. Feel free to download and burn:

First one is trance-y, second one is house-y
