Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Had to get from Point A to point B in the fastest possible way. My SVX never gave me any sign of weakness.

My sister was in a wreck, hence the fast driving.

Being a full time Subaru mechanic now makes it really hard to work on your own stuff
Who wants to bust their knuckles and get all greasy when you do it all week?
I got a front axle for my Teal 2 weeks ago and still havent installed it. I havent driven it for a month now because of the axle

I ordered a set for the bordy a long time ago because I kind of liked the idea but they are tacky as hell. The My 2nd Subaru sticker was off alignment and I'm OCD when it comes to that kind of stuff. Not to deter anyone here looking to get them however, they're still kinda cool (and free) just not for my SVX. Maybe if I still had the old Impreza or a Leggy GT.

I got the original badge and three of thee icon badges. I peeled the stick tape from the backs and assembled them with crazy glue

Once dry, I mounted the entire strip onto a piece of the magnetic rubberized material (like on the back of some business cards) Trim around the edges with a blade to remove the excess.

This way you can put it where you want it, nudge it into perfect position and alignment, or remove it as often as you want without problems.

I agree! I'm getting it just because I thought it would be cool to have.

Actually, that's not a bad idea, to be able to remove it. That way I could put it on to show someone, or perhaps a photo and then take it off.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Finished getting the manifold and throttle body on, started it up and let it warm up and it idles great, sprayed some throttle body cleaner all around the seams, throttle body, manifold and heads no change in idle seems to be sealed up.
