We are currently working on changes to the SVX radiator so that there is never an issue like this again. I have been reading back through the posts and know that the top inlet is to long and must be shortened an inch, the lower fan mounting brackets are to low and must be brought up a half in or so. And of course the cap clearance problem, which we are thinking of solving by trimming a fraction off of the top tank, and just extending the top pins for mounting a fraction. And we are going to look into machining the filler necks down alittle bit more. We realize now though, that all radiators should be test fit by our company, not an outside person, this will insure there are no problems and there is no guessing where the blame should fall if something doesnt fit/work. We do apologize for any inconveniences we may have caused anyone. We have a few SVX radiators that are not assembled sitting in our shop, and we have an order of some, not sure the exact number coming in from PWR Australia, if anyone is interested in buying one contact me at 877-656-9256.
Awesome work man... I know it wasn't a perfect fit (and I don't have one either) but I just want to say thanks for doing something awesome for our cars.... It is too hard to find aftermarket parts, but you took the time to some radiators for us!! Good on ya!!

Well, of course we are going to fix the problems on the unassembled radiators, wouldnt be very smart to send out more radiators that are not 100% perfect, it shouldnt have happened a first time, and ill make sure it doesnt happen a second time. If you do not feel I have cleared up your questions, then feel free to give me a call. 877-656-9256

I just hope everyone likes the caps, and that the hood clearnance issue, is no longer an issue. I know I like the caps, If theres any left over, I already called one

Caps need something to cover them...I am testing this one now.

Will advise.

That first statement right there cleared up all my personal questions. I am now convinced on what happened. The point that was causing me to want to jump out of my skin was individuals saying "Ehhh... Performance parts are like that..deal with it." That standard is just too low to have quality assurance and sets a false ceiling of excellence. If the Electrical Engineering community maintained that attitude, everytime the microwave was improved, people would have their eyes melt out, and HDTV's would be electrocuting children when they touch it. They can "just get it right on the next batch.", and send you a roll of electrical tape to cover up the "hotspots". Ehhh... that ill do!...

The statement "It shouldn't have happened a first time" shows a high standard of excellence in the mentality of you and your company. Anyone can accept a few communication mishaps. Accidents happen, mistakes are human. But No one should EVER accept low standards as a norm, and maintain an "ehh..." mentality. It causes a deviation of the norm, and lowers quality.

I can't wait to see the cap.

Thanks for clearing this up. My tail is finally wagging.

According to the vinyl specs...it is marginal...but I figure, with the stickers exposed to the hot Florida sun, it must get really hot on the outside of a car...they might be okay. I've not had a problem on a painted surface or dark tinted windows. I'll leave it one for a week or so and see if there is a problem.

I think our caps are a little larger in radius than the OEM's. Josh posted pics of them on the previous page. We should have them in a couple of days to take a measurement. That's a good looking design you made up!
