The stock wheels were cracked thats why I had to get rims. I might keep the car but if by spring i decide to sell u get first dibs. For now I am keeping it because winter is coming up. That and im so in love with this car. It drives so smooth now. ::knocking on wood::

K this car has been for sale twice now but i decided to keep it because of how much i love it. Things around here aren't easy....my mom is sick and its just me, her and my bro living here. My dad passed away when i was 12..about 8 yrs ago. I'm doing this to see if anyone is interested....im willing to sell for 4500 ..lowest i can go. I'm only doing this because i hate having to ask my mom for the money that i know will be difficult to pay back. This is a very hard thing to do...but it may be the best decision for me right now. Car has a very tiny oil leak and a brand new sound system. No other problems that i know of. Taking offers or inquiries....email is idontwrkat711@excite.com

sorry to hear about you selling again. how bad is the oil leak though can it be corrected?

Oil leak isnt bad at all. Just a few drops if anything. I changed the oil today with mobil high mileage oil. Ive heard of success stories with using high mileage oil and stopping leaks. Remember to keep in mind that im a philadelphia sports fan...which means im always paranoid and on edge

. So keep that in mind if i say theres a problem with something.

I've been thinking about this alot for a while now. Of course I've never had the heart to do it but I just want to see what kinda offers I get. I would like to get a newer Subaru and I've been thinking about trading it in because selling privatley would probably take longer than I can wait ( i'm very impatient). The problem is that I would probably get crap for a trade in.

Whats wrong with the car? Very minor things...nothing major has ever gone wrong with my car. The drivers side axle might need to be replaced and the car is going to need new strut mounts. Thats about it though. Everything else is in working order.

Well, the best way to sell it is to put it up for sale. Just to take offers and not have it for sale will not get you the true feel for what you can get for it. I would say it is probably worth (without looking at it) around $5,000 to $ $5,500 as is. It could go higher if there were some special options that I don't know about and if it is in good shape.

Car is for sale. Selling price is $4,000- negotiable.

I wish I had the money to hold onto it. But I just can't do it at this particular time. Car now has 120k on it. Only thing it needs is strut mounts and new rotors or resurfacing the rotors. Everything else works great and the car looks fantastic. I need to get a newer car. Something with a warranty....Subaru of course. I was thinking about trading it in but I'm not sure I would get anything for it. Any opinions on that?...im not sure how the whole trade in process works.

The brake pads need to be done too...I will be heading to the brake shop tomorrow to get them done.

Why?

If you're serious to sell or trade your car this time, get a trade-in value from a Subaru dealer and see how much they would give you. Then at least you know how much you can get. Put it on ebay and it'd get sold for sure but no guarantee for your desire asking price......maybe you would get more than the trade-in value.

Too bad, ...was great talking to you on the phone but I didn't get a chance to see your SVX when I was in NYC few weeks ago. Good luck in your decision...
