Tax revenues at their highest? I hadn't read that.

But I have read.... on several and continuous occasions, that our yearly deficit is at a historically record high.

How much money is your party spending up there? And what the heck are they spending it on? Stop it! Show some responsibility, and demand accountability from your government. Stop being a yes man, as they destroy our country.

maybe Johnny "Flip-Flop" Kerry could help to pay for the war, since he voted for it.

"In May 2003, at the first Democratic primary debate, John Kerry said his vote authorizing the president to use force was the “right decision” though he would have “preferred if we had given diplomacy a greater opportunity.”

But then in January 2004, Kerry began to run as anti-war candidate, saying, "I don't believe the president took us to war as he should have."

They weren't "voting for war", (But you already know that,) they were saying "we are united" under false pretenses of coerced intelligence. That vote you are talking about was to give authority to the president to make a decision. It was a show of united force, and it worked. Saddam allowed the inspectors to go through his personal home. He allowed everything at that point. The inspectors had free access to the entire country at that point.

Three weeks later, Bush said "Saddam has 72 hrs to leave the country, or we invade."

Any explanation why he would still attack? Bush got what he demanded.

You guys keep taking that one sentence out of Kerry's speech and turning it into the Demo's voted for the war. I would say "read the entire speech", but I'm sure you have by now. The only explanation I can think of, is you wish to maintain a false illusion on the mistakes your party has made.

But then you acknowledge the mistakes, or you wouldn't spread the false illusion that the democrats "voted" for war.

Doesn't sound like a flip flop to me. He always preferred to allow the United Nations inspectors to do their job.

A flip flop is a President who campaigns on a platform that the United States should not be in the business of Nation Building, only to spend his entire time in office Nation Building.

There's your flip flop. Any explanation to that one? Did your boy change his story a few times on the Iraqi invasion? What a flip flopper.

You are wrong wrong--again. R-O-N-G, "rong". He DID vote for the war, based on the SAME intelligence that Bush had. Nothing coerced, manipulated or falsified. Get it straight. You need to read all of the speeches including ones made outside the framework of the Congress. AND even read Clintons speeches about Iraq while he was still president.

You guys are just refusing to take responsibility for your own mistakes.

If Clinton had still been in office, we wouldn't be in Iraq, 9/11 would not have happened, and North Korea would still be without a nuclear weapon.

You guys screwed up. Take responsibility.

Clinton IS THE REASON NK has a nuclear weapon. Take responsibilty for it---HE screwed up. His namby pamby one on one agreements were being violated before the ink was dry. They were a joke.

You are right we would not be in Iraq, but we would not be in Afghanistan either and we would have been attacked several times by now. Willy boy was the original WUS and draft dodger,

Accept it and put the blame where it belongs.

You are so full of shinola, they could use your back hair to wax cars.

I'm gonna type, type, type, paste, paste, paste over this after the debate is over. I have it paused right now.

The debate is between John Ensign(R) incumbent, and Jimmy Carter's son... Where the heck Carter Jr., all of a sudden came from, I haven't a clue. I have been voting for Ensign since he started out in politics here well over a decade ago, starting in the local assembly. (His family was the original owner of the Circus Circus Casino group.) He's a rookie in the Senate. Harry Reid is of course our power house.

I just can't bring myself to vote for Jimmy Carter's son, so you bible thumpers are probably going to use me for your crimes on this one. But..... along with all the other yes men in this republican congress, Ensign has voted alongside this administration 96% of the time. So he may just be a Bush ***** like the rest of them. If it turns out that way, then for the first time, he doesn't have my vote. I want to see what Carter says, and see if he's like his dad.

If he's like his dad, I'm screwed and going to have to vote for Ensign anyway and regardless.

Lee, I'll be back to wipe the streets with your republican rear later.
