Sorry, I needed some time to recover and get back on track. I've done a little more machine work but not much. I'll get some pictures up soon.

Glad to hear everything is back on track Mike. I am still waiting to hear back from Mikecg about his swap. If I do actually take the job, I will be more than happy to post some reviews for you. Not sure if I actually want to drive it when it is done, might make me get one of my own Sorry no headlight

Aaaaaaaaaa, found another problem. The pulley was hitting the fiberglass hood. I just figured it was the hood. I put the stock hood back on and it is hitting as well. I'm hoping it is a possible bad tranny mount. If not, I figure the problem can be fixed by raising the tail of the tranny. When the conversion is done we'll have to ensure the tranny mount is made to raise the tranny and lower the front of the engine. I figure if we can get the front of the motor about 3/4 of an inch lower all will be good. I'm going to get under the car on Sunday, hopefully, and see if the plan is possible.

Do not raise the rear of the trans. For the FWD that is fine, but if you want to go AWD that will cause binding the the driveshaft. I would suggest using a set of Group N motor mounts and I can fab the brackets to lower the engine rather than raise the trans

Hey Mike, it hit with the hood closed just sitting or is your car driving again? Shoot me an email with the shipping address to send the final software to.

I understand the group n impreza mounts are shorter than the svx mounts and the people using them have been welding on a spacer. Maybe we can use them without the spacer. I'm not sure how much better the group n torque mount works. If it's a big improvement we should use it. We should also look into straps to help the torque mount hold the engine down under throttle. After we're happy with how we have the engine attached we should make new pulley covers so that if it does bump into the hood the cover bumps instead of the pulley. Since the pulley is now smaller than the supercharger's input shaft, as long as the cover is deep enough to be braced by the input shaft the hood won't be able to push the cover into the pulley.

It hit's will not moving. The belt just barly hits the metal of the hood. It did a pretty good number on the insulation though.

Nothing for it then. We have to dig into the motor mounts. I have a box of group n motor mounts here I can start with.

lol, that might be an option for my new svx. The pearly I just bought needs a hood as well as a driver's head light.

I can always use more brackets. Actually i could use both head lights..the passengers one is rediculously yellow..I hate to even use it as a base to start sanding and polishing.

Hey, do you want your crank pulley plain anodized or black anodized? I have an anodizing set up now, though I haven't set it up yet, and I am planning on black anodizing the stage 3 stuff but I can skip the die step if you are one of those that prefers the aluminum look.

Nah, I will take the low profile Black thnaks man. Do you still need fuel rails...etc?? I picked up a whole motor. I will double check on the headlights and make sure they are not broken
