(waits for Apple vs. PC war .........)
I use a PC running Avid at work, but I always end up needing Final Cut Pro for something. I do prefer Apple, but a collegue of mine once said: "They're just tools. Would you ever hire a contractor who only uses flat head screwdrivers and insists that phillips heads are inferior?" No wars, just a different tool for different jobs. I really wish I could get by with a cheap Dell or something, but I'm committed.

Apples are superior in many ways. I feel the OS is the biggest difference. I hate windows. The only thing that I would say a PC is better for is gaming. But I do all that on my PS3

Anyone buying a Mac just to surf teh webz or type a doc needs to throw some of that disposable income my way. On the other hand, if a client asks you for a ProRes QuickTime and you're sitting at some cheapo web-book by Dell then you're SOL. My PC at work cost over $50K and sure enough it's a lot more capable than my MacBook, but it won't make a DVD or a ProRes file so that's why I keep the Mac in my toolbox.

Thanks everyone for humoring my rant. I know what I need to do, but I wanted to blow off a little steam.

Chris and Nate, I needed that laugh.

Oh yeah, no worries, i can usually read sarcasm really well.. even though the interwebz
me being disappointed was when i had the same sig as i do here, and then half of it was gone!

I'm just a loser and just am trying to keep as many on the road as possible, and I've wanted a 97 ever since I started picking them up to save, ala the laguna. And now I have a chance to get one for a great price that needs some work, but no big deal and is also close... so it's a win win situation. Just need to fix up the laguna to make it look a hell of a lot better and put it on the market

Not a loser. Not around here. You're my hero.

Does anyone else see the eyeball flexing when you squint? Or do you just see the enormous zeppelin, apparently imaged on a satellite far enough away to get the entire moon-woman in frame....?

The poor guy was probably a 900 carat diamond by the time the game was over.

Ahhh after a day frustration it feels good to let loose on a random internet fatso. Once you have to be shoehorned into a stadium seat, and can be classified as a planet before Pluto, its time to stop eating.

I felt horrible that i'm over 200 lbs now
even though it was with shoes and heavy jeans, but still... i never wanted to be over 180... Not from a bulimic viewpoint or anything, just a fact of not ever wanting to near a point where i was fat lol...
