There are a lot of "mature" SVX owners. He'll be one someday... and it comes sooner than you think!

The thing is, you still feel young, just with more knowledge of how the world works.

I understand where he's coming from...I have an 18 year old son.

I know smilies are a crude and inaccurate way to convey emotion, so I'd like to see you realise the mistake and edit it yourself, OK?

If it's any consolation Cyn, I happen to think women at 40+ are just getting up to their prime.

And I have been around long enough to know what I am talking about.

Thanks, Joe. It's not a big deal, just thought he should realize 40+ is not equal to dead. And I think if he was driving around and saw a Nicole Kidman etc. behind the wheel, he wouldn't be so quick to judge.

I guess. Well, I suspect from a teenager's or younger man's standpoint even very attractive women of 40+ are not, how shall I say?, attainable? So maybe that colours the thinking.

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm the record book for this site - longest thread, and longest amount of time on the front page ever in the history of the network.

You know you are an owner when.

You love the site so much, you become an officer, so you can spend more time on it and tell your family you're "working"

When your favoirite car has been in drivable condition for 3 weeks out of the last three years.

When, to spite that fact, you buy another one.

I have various tools including drills, jackstands, etc. shoved into all the cupboards/pantry with miscellaneous stuff taking over the counter tops....

You know you're an SVX owner when you don't even go inside the house to eat dinner, you bring the pizza out and set it on the intake manifold then work and eat.

I do that all the time.

Have you not seen Madonna (pic, pic)or any of her music videos? Or more importantly, Kylie Monigue(pic, pic, pic) or her music videos? Not from ten years ago, I'm talking present tense!
Or even going back - the movie "The secret of my success" with Margaret Whitton: "I swim 20 laps every day, do you see any part of my body that isn't firm?"

I hope at 40, I look this good.

I'm sure going to try!

I used to look this good at 40 Marisa.

But the hormone tablets have sorted everything out OK.
