Re: Car heater coils and aviability
Kia ora Phil,
I think it will be a matter for an actual trial fit regarding size. There is no doubt some tolerance involved and the slightly larger unit could adapt perfectly. The original tubes could be fitted provided the flanges are the same, which from the illustrations they appear to be. A parts car is called for. One would expect the manufacture to know what car each type will fit, but the SVX being rather rare, may not be included. A reference to other Subarus could however be encouraging. All in all I think you are on track. Sincerely, Trevor.

Re: Car heater coils and aviability
Just to keep you all in the picture, my contact Sean from Serck was out of the office yesterday but he responded briefly on his return to the office last evening UK time.
On the commercial side of things he says they will entertain making "one-offs" but the economies of scale on an order of 10 or more make the price about 30% cheaper per unit. It would be unfair to hold them to a price at this stage as they have not "done the maths" yet, but Sean suggested "one-offs" would be in the region of £130 per unit, ten or more would be in the region of £85 per unit, and I assume this is plus VAT and delivery. I will update futher when I know anything definate, but in general are we heading in the right direction on this ?? Phil.
