my thoughts exactly, bangle styling pasted onto your pedestrian econobox body. ah well, at least its got an STi badge and a turbo engine, and isnt that what really counts?

The '08 is butt ugly, but after seeing that EVO X im still a Subaru guy. To much boy-ricer look IMO, although the STi does look alittle "slow" (if you get my drift) compared to the EVO X.

The EVO in black would look nice. The Subaru needs some tweaks. Where Subaru makes it up in sales is the base model. Alot cheaper then the STI or EVO. Of course the Mazdaspeed3 trounces it, and the new Caliber SRT-4 should as well. Subie's AWD advantage is all it has going for it against those 2 in pure performance comparisons.

Ill have the fish...
Sadly, the Lancer gets my vote for now. The new WRX/STi is just... not growing on me yet... Its a pizza delivery boys dream, but not mine. I'll stick to my Leggy

Speaking of the Legacy, you see the pic of the nice black LGT wagon 5MT in the recent issue of Drive? I could handle owning that one.

I saw the 5mt wagon in drive, it was slick. I kinda like this new STi. I want to see it in person before i officially endorse, however.

Giugiaro frowns upon you!
the 1 series was essentially a painted delorean.
BMW's only midengine and no cool doors non of these smilies express what I feel

the STi interior is much nicer, but the EVO's isn't cheap-looking IMHO, just not as exciting as the STI's. i can deal with plain, but not cheap. to see a cheap interior, look at EVOs from the last few years.
