Engine Mods

I heard that it was stroked, but I would prefer to hear it from them officially, because there are a lot of other issues such as pistons, compression, rods, deck closing, cylinder cooling, bearings crank, heads, & valve train, that need to be addressed prior to attempting 1100 HP. To date I have received no reply from them on Nasioc. I'll let you know if I do.

Just so there's no confusion, I took a picture of an EG33 we have at my work.

The problem is the original picture that "proves" it's not an EG33 is that it is focused on a very small portion of the block, and the pad where the engine ID is cast isn't in the picture at all.

The black box shows the approximate location of where that first picture was taken, the red arrow points to the engine ID casting pad.

Far away:

That should clear it up for *ahem* everyone involved (You know who you are).

I will definitely try to make it. I had an opportunity to drive a 375 HP Saleen not too long ago. Crazy fast, so I can only imagine what 462 WHP will be like.

Hey Larry:

Yes I'm still around. Don't post much. We have a 5 1/2 month old baby boy and a new suby to tote him in. We got a Forester XT Limited. Black with tan leather interior. It is a very nice car. Very good pickup on the new 2.5 liter turbo engine. More compression, like 8.4:1, and they did away with the preturbo cat, so there is no noticeable turbo lag. Unfortunately my wife wanted the automatic. Probably the best factory stereo (or any other for that matter) that I have ever heard.

This would be a really good engine to swap into the SVX.

How are things with you?

take care

Chuck

Bad News

I don't know if you saw this, but this guy went belly up on this project. Lost his job, and no funds to complete. If anyone is interested he is selling the vehicle. Wish I had the dough.

Guess what car just poked its head up in San Antonio

I'll try and find out what the guy has planned and if I can get some updated pics.

Re: Twin Turbo E33

I wish you can invite him over to our network so that he shares info about some of the mods done on his car.

We can also teach him how to deal with his cooling problem
