Well actually I have been married 3 times, but the last one lasted for 34 years until her bout with ovarian cancer in 02. I have 4 children and no regrets.

Sorry Electrophil But You're Your Own Worst Enemy...

you've dropped too many witty remarks and excellent one-liners to get away with b grade material. You did it to yourself...now we expect you to be funny all the time.

A Military Carreer And Family Life...

not real compatible. Pretty hard on a relationship when one partner's gone 6 month to a year or more at a time. Lot of divorce. In the military, being a wife or single Mom means you've got all the responsibilities and problems of marriage and a family and the other half of the tag team is overseas. Just another reason why we need to get our people home.

Still another excellent point to ignore Bob and Joe washing dishes together.

All nice and comfy... Bob with his pipe, Joe petting the family dog. My lawn guy was here today, and he agrees.

I said "What do you think about Bob and Joe getting married?" and he replied "Kay". I have a great lawn guy... Very agreeable. I was kinda embarrassed cause I don't even know his name. I asked his daughter though, and she said his name is Kay. Her name is also Kay, and I think that's sweet.

No, I think that's his cousin's name. I pointed at him and asked his name, and Kay said "See". They are very down to earth and of very few words.... But with skills that are unbelievable. Kay handles that weedeater like a surgical instrument. He could perform heart surgery with that thing. See manipulates a rake with the accuracy of a sword in a Ninja's hand.

His daughter Kay? Hand her a box of Ritz crackers, some vaseline, and a rubber chicken, and she becomes a magician. The velcro barbwire is a great touch.

It's a full service family, but I'll be losing them soon. Kay's going to India soon as a systems control engineer.

Yawn--Stretch

Already had a 4 mile walk and now am ready for breakfast. Dogs are arguing whose day it is to cook. Of course I always lose that one.

Que? Isn't he that guy on Star Trek?

I think this point thing TigerShark came up with might catch on. I'll play! We'll start you off with the traditional 100 points. I give you 12 points for the recent compliments which is boosting my sagging confidence. (Work problems lately trying to build a database. )

Lee gets started off at -460 points because...well..... He's Lee!

Bipa is probably ahead of us all cause she heads up the R&D in not exactly SVX. A very demanding and time consuming occupation.... and the Pay sux.

I was up and taking a shower at 4:30am. Do you always sleep in this late?

Do your math Robert. I got up and walked 4 miles, took a shower and was posting on here at just about 6:30. Probably got up about the same time as you and remember--I am retired and don't work other than around here.

It does take a very special kind of woman to marry and support (emotionally) a military man throughout his career. Or vice versa. The woman must be very supportive, faithful and truly dedicated to her husband and family. That is obviously not for everyone. I truly take my hat off to the career military wife. She is as dedicated and brave as her husband. It does help that the career military community is tight knit and very supportive of spouses of forward deployed soldiers.

As to bringing them home--I think you need to ask the soldiers what they really think about that. You will find that the vast majority want to stay until it is finished. Let them speak for themselves and don't try to put words in their mouths. Do they have *****es and complaints---yes--a lot of them, but they still want to finish the mission.

Yeah, sounds like about the same time. I need to get to work, and quit procrastinating this morning. I just fired up the laptop ony 15 minutes ago. It should have been on 2 hours ago. I'll never get done fooling around like this.

That's it. I'm going to have to get off of here and get this done. No more goofing off.
