Well, I called the guy up today, but he won't talk to me anymore.. lol

I asked him what was the lowest he'd take, and when he said $10k I giggled and he called me an a-hole and hung up. I haven't bothered to call him back.

Shelf, if you want to go check it out, let me know. We can cruise up together and take it for a joyride

It had NOS didn't it? Maybe it'll have a fresh bottle...

Well, Shelf and I went and looked it over. The paint is decent, but not great. The hood is a different shade, as well as one of the fenders. I don't know if it's been in an accident or not. The engine bay was dirty, and missing the engine cover. He had the NOS unhooked, and said it was a 100 shot.

Car drove good, he wouldn't let us drive it, but put it thru the ringer on the city streets, doubling the speed limit most of the time. Sounds a little loud at startup, but you can barely hear it idle. The back tires were rubbing going over bumps, it has 235's on it.

It has a decent stereo, 2 12" subs in the back. Interior was pretty dirty and needed some TLC. I believe the car has about 141k on it.

All in all, it could make somebody a good car with a little work, but I'd definitely pass on it, especially at $11500.......

that's what the seller is advertising it to have. since i actually sat in the driver's seat before our "test drive", i noticed it now has over 145k miles.

ps - the sunroof needs a nudge to open.

Sounds and looks like to me that the car is worth considerably less than half what he is asking for it.

In my opinion, anyway.

Anyone know anything further as to what happened to 'my' car? I noticed he had the top and grille painted black, different exhaust tips, different tires and probably hit something if the hood and fender are a different shade. I think it looked better before, although I don't mind the black top. But it sounds like its been thrashed a bit. What was this guy's name? Any info appreciated.

the owner in longmont, colorado was trying to sell it again about two weeks ago on auto trader. the price was reduced to $6500 from $11500 when zeppelin and i went to look at it last march. looks like it has been removed from auto trader. linky

Thanks for the info Kenneth. The interior was like new when I sold it for $7500. Probably barely worth $5000 now if it still runs the same as when I sold it. It had a quite extensive list of mods. I sold it with the 105 hp jetting installed and a dirty engine bay. My next SVX will be an AT 4.44 with a hefty shot of nitrous.
