You know you're an SVX owner when you constantly play with that useless button that makes the lights on the dash brighter and say..."look what I can do!"

I always do that with whoever I'm driving with

For those in school:

when you read the forums and search for svx stuff to buy when you should be studying for a test tomorrow..

then feel modest shame realizing how much you have to study...

yet you can't help but continue distracting yourself with more SVX stuff...

I showed this to my wife on Sunday. She seemed underwhelmed, as if the stock lighting in her Forester is all anyone really needs.

When you are constantly trying to convince your parents/girlfriend/wife/husband/everyone else that it is normal to either have or be constantly contemplating owning an SVX "just for parts."

Dunno if I already posted this one...

...When the McDs drive-thru worker calls her friends up to the window to show them "this really cool car". - True story.

Now if I could just get this stalling issue resolved so I could actually drive it again!

When your son asks for the car, and you run to the window to watch him leave just because, as you're usually inside it driving, you don't get to see it like that...wheels turning, gleaming as the sun hits it when it comes out from under a tree. I always smile. (my son asked the other day why I always watch him when he leaves..."What's up? Don't you trust me to get out of the driveway?" )

I do the same. I sometimes offer people to drive my car up and down the street just so I can look at it.

When you think the fancy SVX penlight was intended to check for dents and dings before you leave a parking lot at night.
