Lurker, for sure. Long time member, no SVX at this time.
As I've said for the last 2 years, Summer/Fall '05 is when I can actually afford one (if Earl doesn't buy them all by then).

I am the proud owner of a gas spilling, non-shifting, bodywork needing SVX that I bought last week. It is a 92 LSi pearl white with grey leather. Hope to see much more of these forums as I attempt the slow and painful restoration of this beautiful car.

Hi - I'm Marc, i live in northern Vermont and i'm just about to go pick up my first SVX tomorrow. It's a '92, one owner, 68,000 miles, serviced by a Subaru dealership via the schedule. Getting an ATF filter and an ATF cooler right away. What a beautiful car (black) can't wait to drive it!

Great website; its save me a lot of time and expense.

I had a 92 which gave its life so that I might live, and missed it so much I now have a 96 with 49,000 miles. One of the best cars I've ever owned. I'm amazed more people arent aware of the car, but maybe thats a good thing. Anyway, keep up the great work.

Spent a long time researching the svx on here and elsewhere, and in tune with the initial intuition it is exactly what I wanted. That 4EAT is crap but even with a bill 3X the initial purchase I still think it's worth it. I finally picked up my black 92 LS-L going on 2 years ago at around 104k, its up around 130k now and climbing fast. Once resources allow this car will become something else, but for now I can barely afford to keep her going...

Yes, I am an occasional lurker but I do like to post when I can. I currently do not have an SVX because I had to sell my '94 Barcelona Red last summer due to rising college costs. I'm in my second year at the University of Idaho and, hopefully, I will have another SVX sometime within the next 5 years. I currently drive a 1982 Volkswagen Jetta Diesel to get me around but never will I forget the days of SVX ownership. If anybody knows of an internship or other summer job, let me know because I am looking for a place to work this summer. Thanks everyone.

-James T.

P.S. I like the new look of the network. Very hip and modern.
