Also here. Rarely look at General Babble. SVX owner since 1995. Current owner of 5, but maybe the structurally challenged one does not count. (wrecked with only 2730 miles on it--currently has 2792-can be driven if cops don't see you)

Lurking for several years when lived in Atlanta, GA. Then western Oklahoma. Now, beautiful LAS VEGAS, New Mexico (well 20 miles up in mountains from). YES--Las Vegas, New Mexico--oldest Las Vegas in USA.

Just another irascible old vietnam vet (retired army)

Don't drive any of them much--mostly drive Jeep, Ford PU or 04 3.0 H6 Outback.

Lots of work to do on them next spring when weather is nice.

Floater

I found out sunday that SVX's float, it was neat except for the 2 inches of water in my flooboards and a wet abs module. It's also easier to get groceries in my car with no passenger seat.

Mine didn't float soo well, but I also managed to drive out of it!! It almost stalled, but matting it pumped all the water right out of all 6. I let it run forever once I got home because I didn't think any amount of time was enough to steam it all out, but it still runs just fine.

Hi folks, sorry I've been away for awhile, but here I am...checking in.
I still have my SVX running great, though all dummy lights are on constantly (even after I replaced the battery and alternator)...not to mention the wandering fuel gauge...and engine leaks...don't know how much it's gonna cost me to get the latter one fixed (I'm afraid to find out). I love driving this car but I might have to give it up...because of these problems.

Anyway, I may not have been posting lately, but I do visit this site once in a while.

Another lurker coming out of hiding

1995 SVX - I bought it about two years ago. The transmission was already replaced when I bought it. I learned wheel bearings are a job for a better mechanic than me. I love the car despite it's foibles. Right now I am tracking down a wiper problem. Since the front and back wipers are behaving eraticaly I am guessing there is a control module somwhere that is going bad. Also does anyone have a good source for windshields (besides $1000+ from subaru)?
