Yay for 4wd! My Justy has been chugging through some pretty deep snow these last couple days thanks to the recent storm.
The Justy is more of a plow with the bumper being the blade. I was pushing snow higher than the bumper.

What ticks me off is that I bought my second SVX (aka: The Evil Twin) with front end body damage (hood, R/F Fender, Front bumper cover), and NOBODY will back into that one!  I hope you get it taken care of to your satisfaction, and, yes, I'd get the insurance company involved.

It is 11:30 my time (left coast) and it is 11.8 deg F and dropping. I have 4 to 5 inches of snow (not that much) on the ground. It does feel like winter here.

We're having some pretty major snowfall here this morning, on top of a week of constant sub freezing temps. Makes the roads like an ice rink.
I drove my California born wife into work in the SVX, we were being safe, going 20 under the usual limit, and still passing Jeep Wranglers and other Subarus like they were scared or something. The interesting thing is it is supposed to keep snowing until into the evening, so retrieving her from work may be a little tricky.
