my mother was offered many promotions with her company in the twin cities, but she thought it was too cold. even set her up with a relocation specialist to look for homes. i can't remember the names of the suburbs she considered moving us to.

ummm you live in colorado!?! Minnesota isnt that much colder... i mean isnt diffrent levels of "**** its cold out here!" and we have casnios out here that you can pratice you shady accounting at

i beg to differ. colorado is one of the driest places you can live. dry cold is nothing compared to humid cold. i travel to omaha, nebraska every february and though it's only 500 miles from denver, there's a huge difference in climate. minneapolis can only be worse. plus when we get 3 or 4 feet of snow, it'll be like 50 or 60 degrees in a couple of days and all the snow will melt.

hubby wants to move to vancouver. shouldn't be too cold there. it wasn't in october.
