Ah Futz.
Finally took it to Subaru. Just as I thought. It is my front Diff. What a burn. Only 44,000miles on this tranny. Nothing to really cause it. Only 94,000miles on the car!!! Still drives like a top just a little whine noise. Wonder how long it will last? The mechanic said it could go for a long time or could bind and jam. What to do now? Just keep on trucking? 5-speed conversion? How much is the average 5speed conversion? If I was to sell what is it worth? California car, zero rust, 94Miles, superbly maintained. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................
