One other thing - be sure to check out the page on nwsvx.com - there is some new info there that isn't here or in the emails. Also, in case you missed Earl's other post, he would like you to sign up for the rally ahead of time, go here. Here's some of the info from the website that you must read if you are planning on coming.... What to bring: - Most importantly, yourself! - There is a suggested donation of $10.00 per car - feel free to give more or less as you can afford, but this helps cover the cost of the cleaning service after we leave and the food Earl is providing. - Potluck food - bring a favorite side dish, salad, dessert, or even a bag of chips for the Seafood Fest. - Beverages - bring your favorites for yourself, or to share. - Food for other meals - if you are staying over night, the other meals are basically "fend for yourself" (although in the past the other meals end up potluck style as we share food), there are a couple of refridgerators in the cabin to store your food in. - Sleeping bag/pillow - the rooms with beds have linens, but if you are planning on crashing on the couch or on the covered deck you might want to bring a sleeping bag. If you plan on tenting in the grass, of course bring your own gear. Everything else is up to you! Another great Seafood Fest!
Once again, Earl put on a fantastic meet, but this year he really outdid himself with the addition of the Saturday morning rally! A lot of planning and work went into the first time Dabob rally and paid off as everyone had a lot of fun with it. And I won, thanks to a great partner!
As usual, Earl was hard at work most of the time making sure everyone had enough to eat or something to do, but I know he has as much fun as everyone else so it's all good. It was great to finally meet Chris as well, hope you guys make the trip again next year! A+ We'll be back (duh) so sign me up for MacGyver +2 August 1-3, 2008.
