Those emblems really makes the SVX stands out. Plus, it bring individuality to the SVX compares to gt, sports or luxury cars. I have the silver one on my red SVX.

It's basically double sided tape with 3 prongs sticking into the hood.
If you want to reuse the old one then don't heat gun it off... I learned the hard way  I had to do it on another one and I basically used an old extra heavy guitar pick and pried it off.

The best place to pry would be the bottom center of the old emblem. That way if you damage the hood it will be hidden by the new emblem.

I heard from my contact in Japan that the six gold emblems I'm receiving are the last of the current supply in Japan. I don't know if Subaru will be making more.
