Re: Transmission ID
I have a 92 thats 4wd, but its been abused before I got it, and btw Im 56 years old, just love tinkering and fixing stuff others have given up on, I know where theres a 94 4wd sitting in a junkyard not far from me still all together, since no one around here has even seen one they leave it alone at the yard, I was thinking I would take the whole back end of the car and swap it, and throw my 6000 mile 4wd trans in it and see what I can come up with, the 94 Im getting is 9.5 of 10 inside and out, garage kept, with a bad trans

I would see if the yard will sale you the hole car I have bought many from the yards here. then do the swap it would be easier that way.

Re: Transmission ID
I just noticed you are in Southern California. Both cars should be rust free and easy to tinker on. I see your point if the '94 is in such great shape.
Good luck with the project. P.S. I'm 62 and tinkering on my cars, boat and bike is one of my favourite pass times.
