Re: '94 Junker SVX (nepa)

I pulled some interior parts, switches and stuff. I thought it hd been picked over pretty heavily until I came back and checked this thread and saw that all the rear interior stuff was gone before it got there.

I didn't the the other one, but I left when the lightning started, but I will probably be headed back there soon.

Can anyone let me know or poinbnt me to how to remove the trim pieces under the rear windows? Mine are badly faded and I'd like to paint a set off the car and swap them.

For the drivers side you need to take the collar off of the antenna if it isn't already. Then it's just a matter of pulling. You will break the clips and you'll have to get some new ones from subaru.

When did you get an SVX? The red XT6 in your signature, is that still the one with the sidepipes?

Re: '94 Junker SVX (nepa)

Yea the red one is still the one that had the sidepipes. It is still in pieces in my garage. I never got back to putting it back together after my surgeries.

I picked up the SVX in January after some nice old lady decied to take out a row of cars including my OBW at a red light. I decided since I drive 200 miles per day, I should have something that I enjoy driving and is old enough that I am not burning value.

Thanks for the removal tip. I tend to question whether I am doing it right before I pull hard enough to break things.
