I've had about 15 fraud offers so far, and it's picking up getting 1 or 2 a day, once I respond that I want cash or they have to wait till the check clears both banks I never hear from them again. I'm taking my posting off cars101, I think thats where most of them are coming thru..
Here's the latest from George Lucas. Wow the same thing happened to me back in January when I was selling my Accord. I couldn't figure out why someone in England would want my car. It sounds like the same exact scam because they were going to send me a cashiers check for the full amount plus shipping where I would have to deduct shipping....etc.. Well I didn't wait for the check anyways, I sold it to the first person who saw it. Sounded to good to be true, and I guess it was. BTW the guys name was Gideon Moore and his email was goldfly080@yahoo.com.
