I'm really not good at explaining things first time around. What I mean is we didn't create the ozone layer holes with industrialization. It like global warming is not a "problem" in the sense that we created it or that it's our fault or that we need to deal with it.
Take the Kyoto Protocol for example. It's a complete waste of time and effort.
That movie? It's nothing but environmentalist propaganda.
"Global warming" as they are representing as a serious problem is fictitious.
Sure the world is getting slightly warmer in it's cycle.

Who cares?

I don't and nobody really should. It's diverting attention from a real threat.

I know how you feel about it. You are one of those blind patriots. No need to explain.

So, you either want me to die, or have a really nice vacation.

I think we should leave it at that.

Fyi

Topic is pretty much derailed so...
Here's a little something I crunched for the CO2 global warming nuts, in response to this.

CO2

Supposedly one average driving, electricty using, breathing person creates:
15,000 lbs per year
=
41.09 lbs per day

On the high end - Mount Etna releases: (not really a Mt., just calling it that)
70,000 tonnes per day
=
25,550,000 metric tonnes per year
=
25,550,000,000 kilos per year
=
56,327,530,000 lbs per year
=
154,322,000 lbs per day
=
3,755,706.98 people producing 41.09lbs per day

On the low end - Mount Vulcano:
270 metric tonnes per year
=
595242 lbs per year
=
14,486.29 average people per year

107,080 tonnes across 12 volcanoes. 4 mildly active. 7 moderately active. 1 very active.
236,068,568lbs per day
86,165,027,320lbs per year
2,096,982,899 average people per year, or 1/3 the population of the planet.

Roughly 1/5 of the worlds active volcanoes (maybe 58 total) vent as much CO2 as 1/3 of the worlds population.
This is not counting eruptions.

You contribute to global warming
more than you know.

So what does fascism have to do with global warming?

I'm for fascism. Check out the crime rate in Berlin, Germany from 1936 to 1945. Whoo. Wait, I need welfare abusing reciepents and drug dealers for job security. Oh well, it was a thought.

"He who would give up liberties for security, deserves neither," or something like that.

I don't need the government to baby sit me. I can protect myself from pretty much anything,

Oh Great! Another Graduate Of The Lee School Of Reasoning

Ozone holes expand and contract cyclically. just as they have for millions of years, and will continue to do so. there will be more ice ages, too, just as there always have been for millions of years. humans are a very tiny speck in Earth's history.

Yeah, but unlike dinos we've built and invented a massive industrial complex of machines, from dairy farms to steel mills to autos which is essentially, in words you an easily understand, CRAPPING IN OUR OWN TENT. There's nary a reputable scientist left who does not recognize that we (humans) are throwing things out of balance and are a catalyst for the unusual weather patterns we've been experiencing. You're right, we are "a very tiny speck in Earth's histroy." THAT'S THE BLEEDING POINT! Our tenure here has been short but we've done tons of things to damage and offend Gaia, the name for the planet in the theory that posits the planet is an ORGANISM. Constantly screwing with incredibly complex systems that maintain the Earth's equilibrium is bound to create planetwide problems.
"The last half of the 20th century witnessed incredible leaps in our understanding of planet Earth." Part of that understanding comes from Chaos Theory and Systems Theory...the atmosphere is so sensitive to change that a butterfly flapping it's wings in New York can effect the weather in LA. Everything is interconnected. Read Frijof CAPRA's book, THE TURNING POINT or rent the movie "MINDWALK".

Bottom line: This is the only planet we've got, if we mess it up, where the hell are we gonna go?

I took a test, and apparently I'm more like a socialist. Like Ghandi.
I was a centrist last year but I guess I changed my world views in light of recent events.
Socialists are the anti-thesis to fascists.

You're right on this point also. Humans are bad for the enviroment. So sell your car, your house and go live in a cave and hunt buffalo. Let me know how it works out. I'll be scanning the horizon for your signal fire and smoke signals. Just be careful not to start a forest fire.

do forest fires cause greenhouse emmissions? humans have prevented the spread of wildfires that would have rolled on unchecked back in the day. a single eruption the size of the Mt. St. Helens eruption released more gas, dust, and ash into the atmosphere than all such emissions by human activity since the *beginning of recorded human history*. there are numerous volcanic eruptions yearly.
