Be sure to ask about the block of rooms we had reserved; to be honest, at this late stage I don't know what their status is. I was assured that if we dropped below 10, that I wouldn't have to pay. I don't think that is a problem now anyway.

All,
Just a quick note to update you on my status. Got a good report from the Cardiologist yesterday and my family doc today (I even cut part of the lawn this afternoon - allowed to do so with strict supervision by my better half!. A little tired, but doing okay!)

Still don't know if I'll be at Snowshoe II. I have a "Nuclear Stress-Test next Friday (takes 3 hours). They will then determine if the third stint will be done. So ..... we still don't know. But I still want to try to make the meet and will do so unless I just can't do the trip. Sure hope to see all of you. This is sounding like a great time!

I'm stressed just thinking about it! Best of luck on that Harry, but we ex-military types can handle stress....

We just had a major cold front pass through the state; high winds and rain and now REAL cold weather. I hope there are a couple of leaves left up at Canaan!

Hey everyone... This is first in a while that I've actually been able to sit down and look at the forum. I knew when I called that there was going to be a pretty big turn out as I had to get a room "outside" the original block.

I was just wondering what the schedule was for Friday? Are we going to meet anywhere before we hit Canaan? If not, what time is everyone planning on getting there? I know we all have different time schedules, but was just curious. I have to pick up a friend along the way at Weslyan College at about 2 PM so that makes me getting to Canaan at about 3-3:30.

Just thought I give you all something to think about?

Yo, John. My trip is going to take me around 10 hours (+ o r-). I plan on leaving my home about 9 A.M. on Friday, putting me there around 8 Eastern.

I heard a rumour that Randy and Bill were coming through Charleston on their way to Canaan.....thought I might hook up with them.....

Maybe arrive up there around 6-ish?

If Randy leaves KY at his planned time, he should be through Huntington around 2:00 or so. We plan for Abbie to be here about the same time. So RWJ and I could meet up, pick up Jerry & Roni in Charleston, and be there about 6:00- 7:00. That's one possible scenario, anyway.

Going over to Charleston and up is a bit out of the way for us. I think Jean and I will just go up 219 sometime in the morning.

You can look for us at the bar.....we'll be the ones having root beer floats.

Remember that I'll be travelling on "Central" time. It's a 5 hour drive to Huntington. If I leave at 9 Central, that'll put me in Huntington at 3 Eastern.

Yeah, I left out the hour time difference. We'll talk over our travel plans this weekend, and next week I'll send you a PM, so we can work out details.
