That’s a good ideal, and one I was going to try to do…but I really didn’t have any snow shots to choose from….I do have some fall pics for Oct,& Nov…..but you have to work with what you have.

Last year we had a couple really good snow shots…..but I wouldn’t want to have the same pic on the Calendar 2 years in a row.

I could have done a completely “Red SVX” Calendar, as over half the pics submitted were Reds…

You have to start asking people to start taking pictures now and start sending them to you so you will have them for next year. I live in NY so I will have a few snow shots for you.

Great job Huck! Especially with January!

You've managed to collect some of the best SVX pictures out there.

huck calander looks great , especially december

one important question and im getting grief from the photographer on this one, is there any profits made off the calender and if there is, does it go back into the svx network or charity groups or are you selling them at cost?

i had a hard time getting the raw images from the photographer he wanted his company on the bottom of the pic and contact or a precentage from the sales, i told him he has to get off the crack pipe

any ways i will be ordering 2-3 callenders

I can add the watermark to that pic if you want me too, I just need a good copy of his logo.

As for profits, I do mark them up a little, too cover my time on getting it together, and usually anything I make off my cafepress shops (I have one for the XT6 too) goes into merchandise that I give away as door prizes at the Dragon Meet.

So if he has to have a percentage, I will just have to replace the pic with a different one.

My shops are usually lucky to clear $30 a year.....which really makes them a labor of love, not a financial venture....

Thumbs up Beautiful, just beautiful

I got my calendar in the post today, and it far exceeds my expectation.

Thanks Huck, your shop rocks! I'm amazed at the quick delivery.

Regards the product, whatever I say will sound gushing. It's that good.

The paper is hard card with glossy surface. Image quality of every shot is of very high resolution. Colour density and resolution is perfect. The shots are all extremely well formatted and framed. From all angles the SVX looks like the beautiful car we love.

And I have to eat some humble pie. The green car came out true and a wonderful action shot. [But it is a Teal rather than a Polo, or do my eyes deceive me??]

My favourite shot is August [nice one Jen!], but to be honest every car here looks beautiful. Wonderful photographs ladies and gentlemen, you can be rightly proud of your cars.

Thanks Huck

Joe

[And no, he is not paying me a commission]

Thanks Joe,
And that is a Teal, as I didn't get a Polo in this year, but John has got me a few shots that I'll most likely put in next years calendar.

I've always liked the quality of the calendars that they put out.

Glad you found it acceptable.

No excuse from you, John, dirt never seems to land on your car!!

Guys, a thought for next year's calendar. We should aim to get a shot of each colour that came from the factory. From memory we have 3 silvers, 3 reds, or 5 reds if you think Claret and Burgundy are red , 3 green, one black, one grey, one blue and one yellow. That makes 15 so far as I can see. Not all available in all markets of course.

That would be interesting, would it not?

Joe

It is more than acceptable Huck. What you USians call a keeper!

The only quibble I have is the eye-hole for hanging up comes through the actual image. This will lead to damage later in the year as the past months fill up the hanging hook.

I'll find a way to clip it up, reminiscent of our droopy visors.

Joe

The XT ones have never been a problem, just be careful when changing months....
