sorry. yes it is. i'm using it to restore my 9524 tracks from teh iPod back to by external hard drive after hubby deleted them.

isn't there an easy way to back up iTunes onto DVD's? might want to try that for future mishaps.


i have my music backed up 3x, not counting teh iPod.

i wasn't backing up iTunes. he deleted my iTunes library and 45gb of music files from my external hard drive. i used PodUtil to copy teh files from the iPod back to the external hard drive. since i no longer have teh internet at home, i'll just leave the external at work.

i meant back up your iTunes library.

i finished loading up my 400 CD changer with stuff i burned not too long ago. i was considering buying a 60G iPod for the home stereo system, but the 400 CD/MP3 changer i bought holds the equivalent of 280G of MP3's for $160.

.....which is why i have it backed up 3x. that's what i meant earlier. on computer HD, 2 external HD's, burned to MP3 discs in CD changer.....and some in iPod, too.
