Yeah...all that darkness will do that...

I'm gonna go to Kinkos next week or something and see how much it would be to make it a poster.

I got mine!!!

Thanks David, I got mine today. And I'm Miss September!

Huck, sorry for the confusion, Miss April was a wild guess before I actually saw the calendar.

Like the others say, it would improve on glossy paper. This would add to the cost of course, and it is at least as good as last year to be sure. I'm very pleased.

Huck, did you retain Ebony Pearl on the roof and trunk lid, or did you respray solid black like all the other two-tones?

It looks great with that yellow grille.

Joe

Actually, when I got the car, it had been repainted, and was no longer the Ebony Pearl, it was just solid black, so I left the top and trunk, as it is like the regular 2 tones, and is just basic black, and resprayed the rest (and added the 97 grill)...I also have aftermarket gunmetal wheels on it now, which really look good on the yellow....

You know, repainting solid black is not a bad idea, if you are not totally in love with keeping everything stock.

The Ebony Pearl is a nice colour, but 9 out of 10 people see it as just plain Black

The cost of it is horrendous, prohibitive even. For a complete respray solid black makes good sense. You could use a fraction of the money saved to add a couple of coats of lacquer, and give your car a really deep mirror shine. Hmmm, I'm getting ideas from all this.

Joe

It's a sweet looking SVX....but I'd have a hard time getting used to the side markers...(that and the steering wheel being on the wrong side )

Thanks Gene.

It's sold now, and I seriously miss it. It was a very good car, and I had fixed all the usual problems.

Looking forward to getting my Black car sorted in the New Year.

Joe
