Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

lol.

That may happen however. It was only on the side skirts and 2 piece spoiler.

The guy at the shop that does fiberglass stuff said that the job done for the side skirts was really, really good. He was surprised that it was done by maaco. I had the skirts done before contacting the guy about the wing.

I always considered the maaco job and the sure to be very, very slightly off color job on the wing (this will be done by the wing guys painter so he can match the paint) to be just "proof of concept" paint jobs.

They are just done at a low cost to allow me to see what I have and have some fun right now.

Next spring I will do a full paint job.

Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

If I had money I would not bother with a "proof of concept".

I should say "I hope to get a paint job this spring".

What do you think about this.

http://www.web-cars.com/detail/touchup.php

If I can get this done for a few hundred then I wont need a paint job at all.

Re: Custom wing

How about a wing category.

Then we can have all the wing threads inside of it.

Re: Custom wing

Sure, thats cool.

Hopefully the adminstrators can change your settings so all future posts by Nikfu go directly there.

Nikfu would not be able to post anywhere else but in the Nuckin Futs category. Everyone else can post any where they want including inside your Nuckin Futs cage.

Is this what you want because I can try to arrange this ?

Let me know.

Re: Custom wing

Due to popular demand I have merged the three active threads and moved them into the "Mod Mania" forum.

The merge will do one of two things:
  • Make all of this, suddenly understandable.
  • Put this all in a state in which it will never be understood.

Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

Okay.

When the new wing is complete and I get all of my touchup paint stuff done, I will post,

"Say hello to my little friend"

inside

"General SVX Babble".

When this happens the new thread will be about showing off my finished car and not about the wing.

Fair ?

Couldn't you have put it in the 'Not Exactly' or the 'Not Wanted' forum?

Harvey.

I'm thinking it will confuse the hell out of anyone looking at any of this for the first time. I've been following these threads and this combined one is now confusing to me.
