how did you compress the springs? did you use one of those at home tools??? i have heard some horror storys about those...

Or just not do it at all. I find it takes a lot less effort to just "plan" on doing things like that.

eh, my friend had 'em, so we used 'em. they were easy enough to use.


the *hard part* was the 140 ft-lb factory spec (yeah right, more like 250!) rear strut bolts.

well when they were put on about 10 years ago they were 140

yeah, i bought a gun and a compressor just for those. i'll show that damn PA rust

i have no patience for 'rust-off' or whatever that crap you're supposed to soak it with.

it actually rides like the stock ones, except in the corners.

its only lowered about 3/4" - i got the springs with the least amount of drop due to the horrible roads around here.
