VERY IMPORTANT ABOUT TURBOS

I dunno guys how turbos are installed in the SVXs... but as far as i know, turbos can blow the engine if not installed properly!!! usually a standard engine car can handle up to 30% over his standard power, over that it needs modification especially if a turbo is installed. you will need to lower the compression ratio inthe combustion area.... pls how a standard SVX engine can handle all this power???

He has done his research (couple of years worth or so) on his particular turbo project and has had competent (as far as I can tell) people do the work he couldn't do himself. He will run low boost as a starting point and is aware that the engine COULD blow. There aren't readily available pistons/rods/heads that are stronger and/or will lower that compression ratio. The compression would also only need to be lowered to prevent damage from detonation (as long as the top end and rotating assembly are sufficiently strong).

I wonder if that turbo has been rebuilt yet? I'm so curious to see how awesome this boosted SVX will run!

after a full scale research about modifying the engine internals, i found out that there is only one company in the world which can do for the SVX. it is Crower at www.crower.com if you are interested in doing a deep project with your SVX costing around 6K without turbo, contact crower. I asked them around a year ago, they modify engine internals but you should get the turbos.

You don't think Prodrive could do it? or STi? or JProva? or Pantera? or Ecutune? or any one of dozens of highly skilled engine building companies?

The only difference between tuning the EG33 and any other engine is the lack of precedent. All it takes is lots of time and money to research and develop it.

Try offering one of the above companies a huge sum of money. You might be surprised how willing they are to undertake the project.

I am talking about a company who already made the R&D onthe EG33, and they have ready parts for the engine...
