Re: Lost in a sea of SVX's
To facilitate my friends finding Jean and me in the upcoming GAGGLE of cars, mine will be the one with the bright YELLOW balloon flying from our open sunroof...
"Hey Randy and Shari!!!......over here!!!!"
A hot air balloon, no doubt. Ron.

Ron.
Let's see, this is the USA, where money talks. My SVX Wll have a tattered American flag, flying from one antenna. It will also have a $500 dollar bill flying from the other antenna. Larry III Ron, unless you are going to have a Box-o-Dom Perignon '53, hagning from that baloon; I believe the $500 bill trumps (not the Donald) the yellow baloon. |

I'll have a scale model of the Fuji Blimp flying above the car.... SVX'er should know a real gasbag when they see one... Don

READING III: HOTEL INFO
I have been in contact with Sharlene, the Coporate sales Manager for the
Morgantown Holiday Inn. She is sending me a contract for the block of 17 rooms to be reserved for the Reading III meet for Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6, 2002. Currently, we have 27 tentative attendees so I thought that 17 was a good number. Holiday Inn Morgantown Exit 22 PA Turnpike 6170 Morgantown Rd., Rt. 10 MORGANTOWN, PA 19543 Toll-Free (800) 339-0264 Fax: 1-610-2861920 The room rate is guaranteed at a flat rate of 75.95 per room per night, plus the 11% hotel tax. Each room has 2 queen beds and she doesn't care how many are in each room. The block is currently reserved on my credit card. The rooms will be reserved under the SVX CLUB until TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2001 All reservations should be made directly with the Hotel, with reference to the SVX CLUB. The rooms are reserved for Friday night, April 5 and Saturday night, April 6, with checkout on the 7th. Any of the rooms in this block not reserved by March 5th will be released. (If you happen to make reservations after this date they will probably honor the club rate IF rooms are still available, but this is not guaranteed. I don't have the formal contract yet so now is the time to voice any concerns. While the rates for all rooms went up about $10.00 this year, our group increase was only .95 over last year's rate Any members wanting to make early reservations would be appreciated. This contract would tie up a $1300 chunk of my credit card for awhile. We have plenty of time to discuss this here. I won't get back to her till after the first of the year.

Thank You SVXCESS for your effort. I will make the reservation as soon as you give us the go ahead.
I see no problems with the deal you cooked up for us. Looks real good. BTW: Any luck tracking down the German Glass headlights? Doug

Don,
HINT: Did you omit an i ?? Guess the word & get a free scotch (or libation of choice) at Reading IiI. THE FINE PRINT: Offer limited to the first correct guess. Not valid in New Joisey. All gifts above $10- in value require a W-4. No purchase necessary. Offer good only in the continental United States and selected portions of Paraguay except as noted. Beer and Ale are excluded from this offer. See poster for details. This is a blatant attempt to build up this thread to Snowshoe III status. Larry III |

You can make mine a Tanqueray and tonic, thank you very much Larry.
We have male anatomy jokes on this thread, and fart humor on the Snowshoe thread. What's going on around here? Maybe we need a new forum called "Potty Humor"...

Rufus,
I subscribe to the school of humor that believes you can keep the morale high by keeping the morals low. Larry III One T&T coming up for the man at Reading III |

There is no "i" in pens...
Don't you re-member, Larry? Musta had a stiff one after dinner and forgot how to spell.
Either that or been listening to too many Limp Bizket CD's on the old headphones.... Don
