Re: Windshields
any oem style replacement windshield for SVX?
maybe not. SVX's windshield is expensive. Other normal Japanese cars' windshields are like $200-$300ish. My friend replaced his 2010 Chevy windshield for only $300ish.

Namely, the ones for the early 90's Chevy Lumina "APV" minivan. They also have a titanium oxide coating and if I recall correctly, they are about $1900 new. There is an aftermarket, but even those run in at over $600. |

Re: Windshields
yeah i am sure there are windshields more expensive than SVX's.
lol not enough SVX for aftermarket producers wanting to make em. ps: your svx list makes me dizzy. shld get a better way and put them into different categories.

Re: Windshields
I want to make separate lists-current, sold, parts but failed when I tried formatting my signature as such. They are in order by date of purchase/pickup

Re: Windshields
.
We are aware of these. Without the rubber molding that surrounds the windshield, they are basically useless. The auction says glass only. It is the rubber seal which contacts the rubber seal on the window on the door that seals out wind and moisture. i don't know of anyone who successfully removed the molding from an OEM windshield and installed it on a Chinese windshield. .

"Useable" and esthetically pleasing are judged by different criteria. Go caulk your Tasmin, enter it in a Concours, and get back to me.
Close-up pics please... Homemade is for moonshine. .

You don't need to make fun of my car because your penis is small. I drove it today and I even shifted gears myself today. What did you shine today? As for concours, please, my TVR would kill your car in a concours. Concours is about originality, not shiney parts that weren't meant to be shiney. I don't try to pretend it is something more than it is, fun and I have no problems DRIVING my car even on days like today when it rained. Back to the topic. Whether John likes it or not. You can buy a windshield and have a leak free acceptable gasket made It just takes a little more effort and searching for the gasket material that looks the closest. Personally, I think that's a better resource then saying you can't do something that will likely be the only option in a decade. The gasket is nothing more than a molded form is you could easily have the gasket manufactured by a company like this http://claussstudios.com/
