Re: Whats wrong with this car
I may be wrong but there's are also stickers inside the door panels, rear quarters and fenders.

You're right. At least 16 different places if I remember correctly.

Re: Whats wrong with this car
Yeah, but stickers and the strut tower and door jamb plate could be moved around. The VIN on the firewall would have to be cut out and welded...

Re: Whats wrong with this car
Two low mileage 92s in Palm Beach both painted red? I think it's more likely that he was mistaken about the mileage before.

Re: Whats wrong with this car
Could be Mike. You never know though, there are plenty of retirees in Florida who have plenty of money to spend and don't drive much.

Re: Whats wrong with this car
I emailed the person who is selling the car and this was his reply.
You are correct Mr. Steele. I understand that you are not interested however, I want to respond anyway. The original owner, a very dear friend and neighbor purchased the car new. The owner is partial to red and the closest color in '92 was claret. He spent a fortune having it painted right after he purchased the SVX. The paint is absolutely superior to what an original eighteen year old SVX would have.

Re: Whats wrong with this car
He's right, changing the color definitely costs a fortune. That closes the matter then, unless someone wants to buy this baby
