I filled up w 89 wed nite at $3.65. The only things that are getting big octane are the chainsaw and weed wacker! I was at the speed shop and asked about the 116 octane. He said, " I'll have to look it up", He NEVER did give me a price since I didn't have a can with me. ( it was $7.35 last august)

To think, We are decendants of guys that threw all the King's tea into the Boston harbor over a 2 CENT tax!!! They even started a WAR over the 2 cent tax!!
By the way, we WON!! "If you prefer the tranquility of servantude to the animating contest of freedom, then lick the hand that feeds you and let posterity forget that ye were our Countryman!" Samual Adams (wearing an 'indian' costume at the Boston Tea Party)

At least you have good gas there. Ours is nearly that for usually only 91, sometimes 92 octane.
Oh well, life is hard. The way I see it though is that in the U.S. we have enjoyed low gas prices for quite some time. Them going up is inevitable, and it doesn't really bother me. Everything's more expensive now, it's just what makes the world go 'round.

everything may go up but wages! and down in south american gas is like below $1!!! although they do have less cars i suspect, but the point is that gas is rediculous nowadays. if i didnt need a car i wouldnt have one (well i probably would have the svx, i probably would hardly drive it)

Roughly 3.80 - 3.90 here for 90 grade.
