Exactly correct.

As both Beav and I have stated many times, the band-aid addition of a relay, does not eliminate the actual fault which is causing resistance In the ignition switch circuit. The fault remains and whatever is causing it, could later develop to a point whereby there is an open circuit, or resistance such that relay does not operate. No doubt this will occur on a rainy night far from anywhere.
