Retribution

There is still a great deal the amoral and perverse lying liars of the Repulican't get 'er done party have to answer for. Meanwhile I get to watch the Preznit have to make nice with Nancy Pelosi, the woman who said of him in 2004:

"I believe that the president's leadership in the actions taken in Iraq demonstrate an incompetence in terms of knowledge, judgment and experience in making the decisions that would have been necessary to truly accomplish the mission without the deaths to our troops and the cost to our taxpayers."

Bush musta been havin' a good ol' time, woofin' on all that humble pie, while sitting across from a woman who's not only much smarter and a better politician than he is, but she's got bigger balls than George. Humiliating as that was, there is much more to come.

news. And that was great news we can attribute to George "Lyin' flip flopper" Bush. Rum Dumb was fired how many days after the Preznit told us he was keeping Rummy on because he was "Doin' a great job!"?

An extremly positive headline from the Wash Post:

Fantastic Job, Mr. President
Nov. 13, 2006; Page A31

Less than a week before the election, Bush told three wire service reporters that Rummy was his man -- now and until the end of his term. He said Rumsfeld and Vice President Cheney were doing "fantastic" jobs, which was so clearly not the case that one of the reporters, Terence Hunt of the Associated Press, pressed the president further.
"You see them staying with you until the end?"
"I do," Bush replied.
What Bush did not say was that at that very moment he was casting about for a Rumsfeld replacement and that Robert M. Gates, a former CIA director, was being considered for the job. By the end of that week, Gates had been summoned to Bush's Texas ranch, where, clearly, he passed presidential muster. The appointment was announced by Bush at a news conference the day after the election. The president had his excuses ready. He lied for the sake of the troops.
Bush, you see, had made a decision.

There's another great headline (Wash Post) and great news we can attribute to Dubya...another one of his pals in jail.

As He visits Iraq.. wait, no.. Vietnam.

I always get those two confused. Especially now that Bush is about to surpass Lyndon Johnson as the longest serving war president in our history.
Huhh!! And both were unjustified.

Interesting

Hummm, interesting development. Election of House majority leader NOT supported by the far left liberals. Instead a moderate elected. Maybe seeing cracks in the party---already?? Murtha is a corrupt politician so it was a good party election.

That's where you're missing the point. Moderates are the ones that took over, not the liberals and not the neo-cons. The majority of the ones elected were moderate. There are just more moderates in the Democratic party now since the invasion of the neo-cons in the republican party.

The extremists can listen, and make suggestions, but they can't actually "play" with the toys. They've been breaking them too much.

We took our country back.

And Lee, you are still invited to join us. The republicans no longer represent you. You make more sense being a democrat today.
