Ok, that footage is exactly what is happening here. Did you see how furious he was??? can we base this thread on why he is that much furious???

I just wish any one of you guys come over here and see what is really happening on ground.

Israel is destroying now southern Beirut. All residents there are CIVILIANS but great supporters for Hizbullah. This area also has Al Manar TV and the civilians there are mostly Shiites (80-85% and the rest are Christians).

Does this give Israel the right to destroy it all?? along with buildings, stores and schools?

Israeli defense minister Amir Perez stated that for each missile that hits Haifa, Israel would retaliate with destroying 10 civilian buildings in southern Beirut. Is that a military War we are fighting or a demolition War ???

This is a 10 day demolition action the Israeli did for that area. Just image what it became now (after 16 more days)

I don't really share this guy's views, but then there are personal reasons for that.

But I do hold him with the upmost in respect for getting on National TV and voicing loudly what he feels is right. I liked him.... I totally disagree with the guy, but I liked him.

Dan, you have an unruly house guest who have kidnapped a couple of kids in the next neighborhood over. Yeah, they both truly have been fighting for decades.... centuries... But kidnapping is still kidnapping, and they left a note saying they did it, because the police have their brother.

The police always mess up the furniture when they come for them, especially when they resist arrest. So the best bet is not to allow people like this to stay at your home... no matter how much you like them. Bin Laden has a family too, they just don't let him stay at their house.

I said it two weeks back. There's not going to be much left of the place, which is really is a shame, and shouldn't have happened. They were moving up in government, but they blew that too. Tell them next time, to try a more civilized approach, and use a little more brains rather than emotions.

GG sure makes some good speeches. I don't agree with all of his politics but I trust him more than Tony B.Liar.

Crazy thought but maybe a legal system? Which UN resolution says they are being held illegally and should be released? What were they charged and convicted of? If it's murder and/or terrorist acts, they should be in prison.

Rob, we cannot suggest ANYTHING for the UN against Israel. Your country's Veto is always there on their behalf, even if we are rightful about something

I have to agree the U.S. is quick on the Veto. But still, there isn't any UN resolutions that I know of that says anyone is being held illegally. Maybe these people they have truly are criminals, with some actually being dangerous. It's bad enough you guys have to endure Hezbollah, would you want criminals running around and provoking the Israelis in the future?

Rob, you don't get it... 0.5% of the resolutions we applied for (against Israel) have passed, the rest and without thinking it over, got nailed by the Veto.

Can I ask you one thing? Consider that Canada was a hostile country and they kidnapped one of your deputies in the government. What do you think about that?

I guess he didn't think back enough to consider most of the prisoners taken in during the 1982 war with Israel and Syria which unfortunately happened to be fought on Lebanonese soil were Syrian soldiers and those fighting for the PLO as well as some Hezbollah. I am sure the views of some of these prisoners have changed to a point where they would not re-join, but for others I am sure that they intensified. He also must have not seen the pictures Danny posted, the main thing that is happening is that Hezbollah is darting all over the place trying to avoid its dustruction by the IDF all the while staging small geurilla attacks while Lebanon is being once more destroyed in the process, with the so called Muslim Islamofascists loving every moment of it which includes the Hezbollah leadership. Israel captured those Palestinian politicians because their whole damn platform was technically founded on working towards Israel's destruction, but Israel should realise as an independent nation they are commiting an act of war, the same goes for Hezbollah's initial attack into "occupied territory." And does anyone seriously think that right now Israel would even consider withdrawing back to its 1967 borders, that is so 1990s.

People need to wake up and realise things are changing, on both sides. And too bad we don't get good debates or clever mudslinging like this in the US though.

Lebanon didn't kidnap anyone, and neither did Israel. Hezbollah did without the consent of your government at your obvious expense. Was this tank episode on your docket? No.... It came out of the blue to your government.

Canada wouldn't kidnap anyone. Maybe some zombied out nut squad group might, but then their government would quash them like a bug, just as we would. Why won't you?
