Bombay train bombings

i was really really sad to hear about this. I'm a proud Indian and a proud American...and im sick of this terrorist bull****. Indians are such peaceful people....im sick of all the terrorist attacks. My uncle was just in Bombay 6 days ago. I thank God he wasn't there when those 8 bombs went off. I hope India does something about all of this. It has to stop....so many innocent people in India die everyday because of this crap.

There's a lot of people shaking their heads on this one. The target doesn't make a bit of sense. There is literally absolutely no way to justify an attack there in any way, shape, or form.

I'm glad to hear your uncle is fine.

The target makes perfect sense. Its Bombay....Bombay train station is 10 times more crowded and worse than anything here in NYC. People actually die trying to board the trains because of the rush of people getting on. They attacked the station during rush hour......no doubt these were terrorists that crossed from Pakistan. Pakistan's govt will say that it was militants from Kashmir....but what everyone doesn't understand is that most of the militants in Kashmir are funded by Pakistan . India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has already called out Pakistan in the July 11th attacks.

That is just it, it doesn't make any sence to kill inocent people who are just doing their daily routine. That is why the terroists must be taken out once and for all. Everyone is in danger of this untill this happens.

Earl that is absolutley correct. I'm so sick and tired of this happening all over the world. So many innocent people dying for no reason at all. When I'm in North India sometimes I'm afraid to walka round in the streets just because you never know....hell when I'm walking to class in midtown Manhattan i feel the same way too. It sucks being paranoid and always watching your back.

So this is part of the India/Pakistan -> Kashmir conflict? I didn't know that, and never even associated the two until you brought it up.

Has anyone stepped forward and taken.... dang, I don't want to use this word.... taken "credit" for the action?

Robert, its all connected to India and Pakistan. Al Qaeda probably has something to do with it....alot of terrorists are connected in some way or the other. The rest of the world doesn't realize that Pakistan's govt supported terrorism. They used to train terrorists and send them across the border into India to do suicide attacks. A few years ago was the perfect example....in december of 2001 Pakistani militants got into India and went to New Delhi and attacked our parliament building in an attempt to assassinate our then Prime Minister Atal Bijari Vajpayee. About 10 people were killed. You might remember India sending one million of their troops to the Indo-Pak border and the huge war that almost happened.

India has said that they believe Pakistan was behind these attacks on July 11th as well. Suicide attacks and bus bombs going off is a regular everyday thing in Kashmir. It is never broadcasted over here though. You'll only hear about it on the BBC.

Read this...its pretty interesting.
