Plain and simple.... .NO, you can't use the rotors for a DSM.... Go to www.irotors.com or www.raceconcepts.com and get a set of their rotors... They are cheap and last a good amount of time ...

if eclipse rims will fit that car, why wouldnt the bolt pattern for the rotors?? only thing i would think could be off is the size of the rotor itself

The bolt pattern itself is easy. its the massive offset that our cars require thats the hard part and the DSM rotors not only have the wrong bolt pattern but are also smaller(diameter) and they might be slightly thinner which by alll means is a bad thing

yes, thats what i was worried about was the diameter and the offset, but again, if eclipse rims fit our cars, how is the bolt pattern different??

More to it than just bolt pattern
The Eclipse bolt pattern is the same, but I doubt much else is.
Following are critical to ensuring the correct fit: Thickness of the rotor -28mm Diameter of the hub mounting face Rotor diameter Distance from wheel mounting surface to rotor body If any of these is off, the rotor will not work on the car. If any of these is off, the brakes will not operate properly, jeopardizing your safety, your passengers safety, as well as the safety of those on the road near you. If you believe it will work, buy one and put the two side-by-side for a comparison. I don't believe they will interchange. Todd

Or you could just get slightly more involved and check one of the hundreds of online parts suppliers. Look up the part number for each car and see if they match.
If I recall correctly the Eclipse uses the typical old Mits style 'unusually thick' rotors.

Don't forget the integral drum rear parking brake. I highly doubt that these rotors will fit. You are better off selling them and getting some that are the right design for the SVX. Raceconcepts are not only affordable, but good quality as well.

Yeah I just seen the drum brake is that for the parking brake or what? I just installed my new raceconcepts slotted rotors and how often do the shoes need replacing as Ive never seen this configuration.
