I turned my TPS up a little and it stopped a slipping problem I was having at light throttle load, slipping from 2nd to 3rd. I turned it too much the first time and the idle speed went up. About an 1/8 inch. Ended up turning it clockwise about a 1/16 inch.

Did your idle speed change?
