UK - 1994 SVX (JDM Alcyone) for sale
Model: Subaru SVX - Alcyone (JDM)
Year: 1994 Mileage: 84k miles (approx as speedo is in km) Tax: None atm MOT: July 2012 -- no advisories on last MOT Location: About 10 miles south of Lincoln Price: £850 as it stands, £950 with 6 months tax Contact details: post here or pm. Pics say a thousand words ..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is a bit rough around the edges, hence price. Laquer peel in places, never bothered me, but the areas its peeling are mainly rear and I thought these parts could be painted black to make a nice contrast - a lot of SVX's were two-tone from the factory. The drivers door lock has been damaged and it comes with different keys for locks and ignition, central locking does work though. A previous owner butchered the electrics around the radio (none included) but it would be easy to wire a radio back in. There is an occasional click from the osf, which I think may be a cv joint, but it's only happened occasionally and I never investigated it. On the pluses, its not done may miles since last MOT and don't think it would need anything for the next. It has good (expensive) Kumho tyres, its not extortionate to run, I averaged 30mpg when using it for work. It's very comfy, easy to drive and quite quick ... Being a Japanese import there is no rust. The autobox works well and being JDM has a power button on the autobox which changes the gear shift positions quite dramatically. Reason for sale ...Reality check - too many cars, not enough time, so no trades ... plus I'm getting an XT Turbo ![]() |

I wonder what it would cost to get that to eastern USA. And how much of a hassle it would be going through customs etc. Would be so cool to have a righty.

Wait another 7 years for this one, and then you can think about legal importation to the states.
