Re: turbo legacy boost
On an SVX or Legacy? I have heard people going to 12psi before encountring issues. Most stop at 9 on stock internals as far as i know.

Quote:
Edwin and BACS2.5 had something like 22PSI on the stock longblock of an EJ22T. They're closed deck and can take a crapload of pressure.

Re: turbo legacy boost
If you really want a top mount, the STi one is better. However, a Front Mount is the best bet, but you have to hack up the bumper to put it in.

Re: turbo legacy boost
Check out http://bbs.legacycentral.org/
Don't run higher than like 9-10 psi without an intercooler. WRX intercoolers won't fit, turbo forester intercoolers will, or you can use the JDM air-water IC, or pipe in a front mount.

Re: turbo legacy boost
your know your 98 gt isn't turbo right.....
i will say that with the coffie cup mod and 12 psi my friend put down 220 hp at the wheels in his sedan, but i wouldn't shoot for that without an intercooler.
