EGR Valve availability
I have been driving with egr system CEL for a while. Can't seem to find any new ones anywhere. Does anyone know if there are any available.

My look at my usual OEM parts suppliers (3 in total) show it, the EGR valve, as "unavailable. Other emission parts are still up...hoses, cannister, etc.

shows one of a few still avaiable. Might be actually for sale or not...I've used this ebay source and sometimes they say somethings for sale but than refund my cost for lack of item

I got mine from quirkparts.com just about a year ago. They have great prices as well.

Have you tried cleaning it? or is the parts just gone bad?

I have one that may work its from a parts engine I don't know its condition as I never had the engine running,

Aside from.sourcing this part from a parts car does anyone have suggestions on additional alternatives? Other subarus or auto manufacturer parts compatible?

Jackie at Annapolis Subaru looked up the EGR valve and came up with this number, 1477AA500

Says about $89.00 and are available. Retail about $105.00
